Cider Pork Chops

These Basic chops can be kicked up a notch as sage and cider chops!

ingredients:

1 boneless pork chop 1 inch thick

1/8 Cup Cider

Salt and Pepper

Tsp Oil

1 tsp butter

Fresh Sage

1-Hot pan, toast sage for 30 seconds in oil.

Salt and pepper pork chops and sear, flip and place in oven with 1/4 cup of cider at 350 for 10 minutes or until cooked through.

If you have the carbs to spare you could totally use regular apple cider. Otherwise, I use this recipe https://convenientketo.net/keto-apple-cider/

I serve this with home made apple sauce!

6 pounds of red delicious apples peeled, cored, and sliced.

Half cup of brown sugar, half cup of white sugar (I like it with just the brown sugar, no white sugar) A splash of vanilla and cinnamon to taste.

Let cook on low for 10 hours.

if you like it chunky leave it alone, if you like it smooth you can purée it. I seal it in a pressure canner, but you could water bath it to make it shelf stable!
